A heavy khaki canvas trimmed with camel color deer skin bonded and stitched the length of the front and back. In this style I added a heavy duty marine brass snap fastener to the strap for secure closure. The main thing to know about deer skin is that it's extremely soft, often used for expensive gloves and in my case often for shoe lining. Bottom line, it's unique and one-of-a-kind.
Strangedog has never been accused of operating under normal business rules, but this is simply ridiculous. The price has been lowered on this cover, not because of lack of sales at $44.95 as it's impossible to fill the demand, but because it's a bit easier to make this style for a K2.
This cover takes on a new appearance as the natural leather darkens with age. The light tan will gradually darken with continued use and absorption of body oils from handling, eventually becoming almost a rust color.
